After the exertions of organising the Jubilee Celebration
in September and the
busy time ahead with
Pure Gold, it was
decided not to hold a
special Christmas meal
this year.
Instead we
decided to have a social
event early in the New
Year as this tends to be
a quiet time for most.
A skittles
evening was the
unanimous choice and
this has been booked as
follows:
Skittles evening at the Burton Bridge Inn, Bridge St.
Burton
on
Trent.
Start time 8.pm.
Ticket price will
be in the region of £7
(depending upon numbers)
to include the usual
cold/ sandwich buffet @
£5.50 a head.
The final price
to be determined after
final numbers known as
the cost of room hire
will be divided
accordingly.

numbers will be needed
before the end of

PRODUCTIONS
Spring 2008 Production
Denise Wilson is to direct a “whodunnit” in late Spring
2008.
Full details of
play, production dates
and casting meetings
will be notified as soon
as these are available.
Winter 2009 Production
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the proposed production of
Twelfth Night in January
2009 has been postponed.
This now leaves a
gap which needs to be
filled.
The committee
feels that this could be
filled best either by a
Pantomime or some other
“family” production.
If anyone has any
proposals and feels they
can step up to the mark
to direct such a show,
please contact June
Berrow (Chair), Julie
Thomas (Secretary) or
any committee member.
